The Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition is excited to announce Laugh for Lake Simcoe, a comedy fundraiser event taking place at the Orillia Opera House on Saturday, June 22, 2024 starting at 7 p.m. This entertaining evening will feature renowned comedians Ron Josol, Fiona O'Brien, and Jeff McEnery from the hit show Letterkenny.
Ron Josol is a highly acclaimed Filipino comedian with a wealth of professional experience in the world of comedy. With a career spanning over two decades, Ron has established himself as a dynamic and versatile performer, captivating audiences with his sharp wit, relatable humour, and charismatic stage presence.
He has headlined comedy clubs and festivals across North America and internationally, showcasing his unique comedic style that blends observational humour with cultural insights. Ron Josol's impressive resume includes appearances on popular television shows such as Comedy Now!, Just for Laughs, and The Ron James Show, solidifying his status as a comedic powerhouse in the entertainment industry.
Fiona O'Brien is a seasoned comedian with a rich background in stand-up comedy and entertainment. With a career spanning several years, Fiona has honed her comedic craft and delighted audiences with her sharp wit, clever storytelling, and relatable humour.

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will directly benefit the Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition's conservation initiatives. Tickets are $50 each, of which $20 is a charitable donation for which you get a tax receipt.
