On Saturday, Sept. 17, authors Rod Carley and Terry Fallis will be at the Manticore bookstore to sign their books between 1 and 3 p.m.

Rod Carley’s book, Grin Reaping (published this year by Latitude 46 Publishing) is his highly anticipated award-winning third book that will likely be entered for the Leacock Medal for Humour. His second book, Kinmount, was long-listed for the medal.

Terry Fallis is well known for having won the Leacock Medal twice, for The Best Laid Plans (2008) and No Relation (2015). His most recent book is Operation Angus, a sequel to his first and second books, The Best Laid Plans and The High Road.

The authors are good friends, and will both be attending the Leacock Medal award gala dinner on Saturday evening, where this year’s winner of the Leacock Medal for Humour will be announced.

The Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour awards are generously sponsored by the Dunkley Charitable Foundation.
