The Community Development Corp. (CDC) is excited to announce the seven local organizations selected to take part in the Ignite Speaker Series during their annual Lunch n’ Learn happening at Casino Rama Resort on Oct. 3:

- Adam Burton – IPC Securities Corp. – The Burton Team
- Jenna Clarke – Rustica Pizza Vino
- Rob Furlonger – Black River Wilderness Park
- Sophie Mathewson – Prism Group Int’l
- Melanie Robinson – Eclectic Café
These organizations will share with attendees a series of dynamic, rapid-fire presentations about their experience in achieving success and selling happiness.
Each speaker will have just 10 minutes to present 20 slides.
This year’s Lunch n’ Learn theme is Selling Happiness – Creating an Exceptional Customer Experience, led by keynote speaker Marc Gordon, The Customer Experience Expert.
It will be a full day with other valuable presentations including a joint presentation on Leveraging Facebook & Instagram for a Unique and Continuous Customer Experience by social media experts Tammy Hudgin and Bob Minhas, and Building Local Economies and Communities that Do Good to Do Well by Georgian College Changemakers Laura Koza, Elly Green and Nicole Norris.
The CDC’s annual Lunch n’ Learn is known to sell out! So be sure to register early. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with presentations beginning at 9 a.m. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
