***********************

The 18th annual Coldwater and Area Studio Tour (CAST) will take place on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

There will be 32 artists and artisans at 16 different locations, with yellow signs along the way, on your self-guided tour through the beautiful countryside. The artists and artisans invite you to view their work – paintings, woodworking, stained glass, photography, and more.

Mark Tumber, who is world-renowned for his photo-realistic pencil drawings, is one of the participating artists. A graduate of York University with a Fine Arts degree, his numerous commissions include family portraits, memorials, anniversaries, wedding portraits, pets, horses, residences, boats, tattoo designs, and conceptual pieces.

His freelance work in the corporate sector includes magazines, book covers, and logo designs. Many celebrities have commissioned Mark’s work: Jean Chretien, George Chuvalo and actresses Stella Stevens and Morgan Fairchild to name a few. Mark also teaches portraiture workshops to adults and teens. Mark will be at Stop 5, 209 Cherry St. Waubaushene, on this year’s CAST. To see more of his work visit www.marktumber.com.
