Mariposa Arts Theatre’s highly successful Film Nights returns to Orillia Galaxy Cinemas on Wednesday, Sept. 13 with the delightful romantic comedy What's Love Got to Do With It? Showtimes are 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Ticket sales begin at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students, all sales cash only.
Sliding between London England and Lahore India, What's Love Got to Do With It? features an outstanding cast that includes Lily James (Downton Abbey) , Shazad Latif (The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Academy Award winner Emma Thompson. It’s a charming cross-cultural comedy that will delight audiences with its humour and engaging performances.
MAT Film Nights has become a fixture of the Orillia arts scene since its inception in 1996, bringing well over 300 outstanding, award-winning films to Orillia audiences thanks to its affiliation with Film Circuit, the outreach branch of the Toronto International Film Festival.
This year audiences can again look forward to regular screenings of Canadian and foreign films drawn from the TIFF catalogue. Future films will be shown on Sept. 27, Oct. 11, Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6.
