Congratulations to Paul Bowman of Wasaga Beach, who won a $250,000 top prize with Instant Cash In (Game #2367).

Paul, 53, said he enjoys playing Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49 when the jackpots are high and purchases Instant tickets a few times a month.

“My favourite game at the moment is Cash In,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.

While playing his ticket in his car, Paul realized he matched the number with the corresponding $250,000 prize.

“I froze and headed straight to the store. When the retailer scanned it, I stood there shocked. My hands were shaking. I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

Paul shared his big news with his mother, who didn’t initially believe him. “When I showed her the ticket, she thought I won $250. I started to laugh and told her to put her glasses on and count the zeros. She was full of joy.”

He plans to invest, help his mother and family, and possibly take a trip.

“I am truly blessed for this win. My body is still, but my heart is racing with excitement. I will finally get some sleep tonight knowing this money is officially mine,” he smiled.
