DRESS FOR SUCCESS ORILLIA AND BARRIE

Hip Chick Design and Rachel Callan Photography are celebrating National Upcycling Day with a headshot event on June 24, 2023, with all proceeds going to support Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie.
A $50 registration fee gets participants a 10-minute headshot/portrait session by Rachel Callan Photography, five edited digital images, and a handmade upcycled tote bag made by Hip Chick Design. Light snacks will be provided.
Participants are also encouraged to bring gently used clothing donations of casual and business attire. If you bring 10 articles of clothing, your name will be entered into a prize draw for $50 of Hip Chick bucks, a custom jean jacket, or a photography package with Rachel Callan. What’s more, Hip Chick Design is holding a tax-free promotion in store and online all day; shop their awesome collection and pay no tax.
This event will be held on Saturday, June 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Hip Chick Design, 4337 Burnside Line, Unit 4, Severn. There are only 20 time slots available, and tickets can be purchased by visiting rachelcallanphotography.pixieset.com/booking/national-up-cycling-day.
Funds and donated clothing from this event go toward supporting Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie. Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie empowers women and non-binary individuals in Simcoe County to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. Their unique programming includes their Professional Clothing Assistance Program, the Breakfast Club, and the Working Women’s Group. These programs are designed to help women and non-binary individuals attain appropriate, professional clothing for interviews, jobs, and court appearances, gain the confidence and skills to attain meaningful employment, and retain employment and grow professionally and personally.
