New client services officer joins Orillia's CDC

The Orillia Area Community Development Corp. (CDC) is pleased to announce the selection of John Sloan as the new client services officer of the CDC.

Sloan has held senior positions in operations, business development and human resources. Through his own consulting company, he has helped clients with business planning, operations due diligence, post-merger integration project management, and leadership/ operations transformation projects.

His experience as a senior level executive in the technology hardware manufacturing industry has provided extensive experience working in an environment of razor thin margins, constant and frequent product and process changes, and global competition.

Sloan has earned his Lean Professional Certification and is a graduate of the Executive MBA Program at the University of Western Ontario. As client services officer, Sloan will be responsible for meeting with and assisting local businesses with their business planning, financial and operational needs.
