Artist Liz Schamehorn poses with her work. Her 'Sketches of Florence' will be the focus of an exhibition at Three Crows Speak Studio in downtown Orillia.

Local artist Liz Schamehorn presents an exhibition of paintings at Three Crows Speak Studio in downtown Orillia for the months of January and February 2020.

The work ‘Sketches of Florence’ is a series of paintings she completed while studying at OCAD and living in Florence, Italy in 1999. She created while out on the streets with her portable easel, each direction offering a fresh abstract composition of strong colour and light-dark contrast.

All are welcome to attend the exhibition reception and meet Liz on Saturday, Jan. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Three Crows Speak Studio is located in the Peter Street Arts District, at 9 Peter St. S. in downtown Orillia.
