Today the Township of Ramara launches a new, easy to use, responsive and interactive website that is designed to enhance customer service and communication.

The new website will include the following features:

  • Improved navigation and search;  and
  • Responsive design for compatibility with all screen sizes and mobile devices;
  • Ability to subscribe to email notifications for news, events and individual page updates;
  • An interactive community calendar with the ability for organizations to submit community events;
  • Online Reporting Tool and Forms;
  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance

“We at the township saw a need for an enhanced website presence capable of communicating information online to residents, visitors and stakeholders in a way that made sense to them," said Mayor Basil Clarke.

"We are committed to continually improving communication between the municipality and our community, and the new website will provide that through improved functionality, easier navigation and refreshed content and a greater user experience,” added Clarke.

“This new site provides the township with a modernized look and feel that is designed to focus on citizen engagement and attract new investors, residents and visitors," said CAO, John Pinsent.

"We have been working on this for months, and our project team has worked hard to develop a website that not only showcases the community but allows us to better communicate with all stakeholders. This platform, combined with our plan to enhance rural broadband, is a one two punch in our modernization efforts. Both of these initiatives are a result of funding from the Government of Ontario through the Modernization fund for small and rural communities,” added Pinsent.
