************************
Couchiching Jubilee House (CJH) is thrilled to announce the launch of our 3rd Annual Auction, taking place from July 18 to July 31. This exciting online event aims to raise funds to directly support transitional housing for families in Orillia. We invite you to join us and make a difference in the lives of those in need. You can RSVP to the event here: https://fb.me/e/T9Iev8R0

Since the inception of our auction series, thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, we have successfully raised nearly $25,000 in previous events. This year, we have set a fundraising goal of $15,000 to provide vital assistance to families in our area who are in need of transitional housing.

The 3rd Annual CJH Auction is proudly sponsored by Karen O'Coin and Scott Walker Investment Advisory Group at BMO Nesbitt Burns as the lead auction sponsor. We are grateful for their generous support and commitment to making a positive impact in our community. Additionally, we extend our sincere thanks to McLean and Dickey Insurance, The Rind and Truckle and Wes Brennan Construction for their sponsorship as  Friend of Jubilee sponsors.

Here's how you can help us achieve our goal and help to create hope for families in safe, affordable housing:

  1. 1. Donate an Auction Item: We welcome individuals and businesses to contribute to the auction by donating items. Your generosity will go a long way in making a positive impact on the lives of families in need. There's still time to donate! To contribute an auction item please get in touch with Paige at [email protected] or call/text (705) 955-2335.
  2. 2. RSVP and Bid Often: Once the auction kicks off on July 18th at 4 pm, we encourage participants to bid frequently. By placing your bids, you not only have a chance to win exciting items but also contribute directly to the transitional housing program.
  3. 3. Share the Event: Spread the word about the 3rd Annual CJH Auction among your friends, family, and colleagues. Sharing the event on your social media platforms and inviting others will amplify our reach and help us exceed our fundraising target.

Auction rules:

RSVP to the auction event page here: https://fb.me/e/T9Iev8R0

On July 18th, all auction items will be uploaded to our event page, and bidding will commence. It's important to note that bidding should not begin until 4 pm. The auction will run until July 31st at 4 pm, and no bids after that time will be counted. The highest bidder for each item will be declared the winner!

Wondering how to bid? Each item will be accompanied by a description and a minimum bid amount. Simply place your bid in the comment section below the item's picture. You can bid $1.00 or higher than the previous bid. If you are the first to bid on an item, ensure your bid meets or exceeds the minimum starting bid.

From July 31 to Aug. 4, we will facilitate item pickup. We accept payment through E-transfer or cash. Please note that no change can be given, and payment is due upon pickup.

By participating in the 3rd Annual CJH Auction, you are making a tangible difference in the lives of families in need. Your support will enable us to continue our mission of providing transitional housing and support services to those seeking stability and a fresh start.
