ORILLIA PUBLIC LIBRARY
*************************
Come explore the endless creative possibilities of the Orillia Public Library’s (OPL) cutting-edge, new Makerspace as we celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This is your chance to experience everything the Makerspace has to offer. Witness the 3D printer in action, learn about the fascinating GlowForge laser cutter, and participate in live demonstrations of our Brother SE600 Sewing and Embroidery Machine, our Cricut vinyl cutter and more. You’ll even get to create a personalized take-home project at this fun, all-ages, interactive event.

The first 15 people to arrive will receive an OPL swag bag, and all attendees will receive a coupon they can use for their next Makerspace project.

The OPL Makerspace provides the community of Orillia with access to a variety of tools and technologies that allow them to creatively explore and challenge themselves to learn something new. Whether you are looking to prototype products for a new business, working on a DIY project, printing, or inventing something totally unique, the OPL Makerspace is here to support you.

Everyone is welcome. Ribbon cutting takes place at 10:30 a.m., followed by cake and light refreshments.

Please visit our website for more information on the Makerspace, including hours of operation.
