Orillia man accused in Collingwood murder back in court Nov. 16

The man charged with murdering a Collingwood woman will be back in court next week. 

John Collins faces first-degree murder charges, and the case has been going through the courts since June. He will appear again on Nov. 16. 

Collins is accused of killing Kinga ‘Kay’ Kriston, 55, who was found dead in her home in Georgian Meadows on Friday, June 10. She was a local realtor.

Police charged 57-year-old Collins, of Orillia, with first-degree murder in connection with their investigation into Kriston’s death. No charges have been proven in court.
