The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and its partners are teaming up for a sock and winter clothing drive to support families in the Simcoe and Muskoka area.

From Oct. 21, 2019 to Nov. 29, 2019 the Orillia OPP and its partners will be accepting new socks and/or new or gently used winter clothing. The clothing will help local families who need the clothing in the colder months of the year.

You can drop off your donations at the Orillia OPP or Barrie satellite location or one of the partner locations which includes: Homework Fit Studios, Sarahannedipity, Orillia Sports Medicine and Kahuna Surf Shop, in Orillia.

The Orillia OPP will be hosting a sock and winter clothing drive at Walmart in Orillia on Wednesday Oct. 23, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

All donations will be brought to organizations who support local families in the Simcoe/Muskoka area.
