NEWS RELEASE
ORILLIA PUBLIC LIBRARY
****************************
The first decade of the Orillia Public Library’s new building is in the books.

Since opening its doors ten years ago, the location on Mississaga Street has become a community hub for people of all ages. To celebrate, you’re invited to an anniversary party, on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be live music by Darrin Davis, treats, prizes, and giveaways, as well as crafts for the kids.

Our hallway has also been transformed into a walk through time with an exhibit that traces the library’s history, dating back more than a century.

Ten is the magic number, so every tenth visitor will get a goodie bag. The library bookstore is also having a sale: ten books for $10, and 10% off merchandise, including shirts, mugs, and more.

In further celebration of this milestone, an exclusive, limited-edition library card will be available for new members who sign up throughout the month of June. Current members may purchase this card for just $2. We hope to see you at this fun celebration, which promises to be a ten out of ten!
