Need some help with school expenses?
The Orillia Vocal Ensemble (OVE) offers an annual scholarship of $500 to an aspiring vocal or music student pursuing a post-secondary education in one of these fields. This scholarship is provided through the generosity of the estate of the OVE’s founding president, Roger Andrews. At the OVE concert this past fall, the 2022 recipient, Sammy (Sam Johnston), gave an inspiring performance and encouraged potential 2023 applicants to check out the opportunity.

The deadline for applications is Friday, April 21. The successful applicant will be invited to perform at the May 17 OVE concert.
The Orillia Vocal Ensemble is a community choir dedicated to raising funds for local charities and promoting our local arts community through song. With generous community and business sponsors, including this year's key sponsor, John Mayo & Associates, the OVE has raised over $150,000 for local charities.
Readers are invited to join the OVE at their next concert on May 17, 7:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Centre, in support of the local charity, Born to Read.
