An Orillia woman has been charged following an early-morning traffic stop in Gravenhurst earlier today.

Just before 3 a.m., a Bracebridge OPP officer on general patrol in Gravenhurst conducted a traffic stop on Muskoka Road to investigate a traffic infraction.

As a result of that investigation, two people are now facing drug-related charges.

Police say Mark Cloutier, 50, of Gravenhurst and Karley Cooper, 27, of Orillia were each charged with possession of a Schedule I substance.

They will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 6, 2023 to answer to their charge.
