TOWNSHIP OF ORO-MEDONTE

In partnership with Lakehead University, and the Orillia Area Community Development Corporation, the Township of Oro-Medonte is in the process of updating its existing Economic Development Strategy.
As part of the process, the township is seeking input from owners and operators of local businesses, and residents of Oro-Medonte, through a survey by visiting this site. The survey will be open until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, with a time commitment to participate of approximately 15 minutes.
The updated strategy will build on the township’s existing Economic Development Strategy, and serve as a road map for developing a sustainable economy in Oro-Medonte, while considering a number of other inputs including the township’s Tourism Action Plan, and Employment Land Strategy.
Mayor Harry Hughes commented that “on behalf of members of Oro-Medonte Council, I personally encourage local Oro-Medonte businesses and residents to participate in the survey. Your invaluable perspective will greatly assist with forming the direction, goals, and priorities of the updated strategy, and further enhance opportunities and experiences of the beautiful community we call home.”
As part of the survey, there is an opportunity to win one (1) of five (5) $20 gift cards to a local Oro-Medonte business. Details regarding the draw are included at conclusion of the survey.
