NEWS RELEASE
COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR
***********************
The weather may seem a little chilly for this time of year, but it’s not cool enough to stop the planning of the largest fundraising night in and around Orillia: The Coldest Night of the Year 2019!

The event, held each year in February in over 130 communities across Canada, aids in helping the hungry, homeless, and hurting.

In Orillia, funds raised go toward The Lighthouse and its new community services hub, Building Hope.

Last year more than $113,000 was raised in one evening by over 700 participants. Nationwide, Orillia was fifth in actual dollars raised and first per capita. Help us do it again!

Mark down Saturday, Feb. 23 and plan on walking and joining the fun to support those less fortunate in our community!

Start a team, join a team, donate to a team and/or sponsor the event.

To do so, visit the website for more information.
