Enthusiastic members of the Orillia chapter of the Ganaraska Hiking Club again took to the Simcoe County Forest on Saturday, this time to the Slessor Tract, which is just north of Orillia.
Although it sprinkled off and on during the trek, hikers were protected in the woods and rewarded with seeing many fruiting wildflowers, not to mention mushrooms of various shapes and sizes.
Anyone is welcome to join the club for their regular hikes that range in distance and difficulty.
