NEWS RELEASE
THE TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA
*************************
Due to the delay in installing all of the new SmartPoint units and getting accurate meter reads, the township has delayed the water bill due date to Aug. 17, 2020.

Since the beginning of June, the township has been working hard to remove and replace SmartPoint units associated with water metering communication. The units are being replaced as result of a manufacturer software update and will allow the Township to read a water meter remotely, and help provide the township with more accurate reads.

As the units are under warranty, there is no cost to the property owners.

As a result of unexpected delays in getting meter reads for the July billing, the township has moved the water bill date from July 31 to August 17, 2020. Residents should expect their water bill within the next two weeks.

If you have any questions, please call the township office during office hours at 705-484- 5374 ext. 221 or e-mail [email protected]
