Save the date. The Township of Ramara is hosting three open houses from July 25 to 27 to present the draft official plan review and discuss the proposed official plan policy and related maps and schedules.
Drop by one of the three in-person public open houses that will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. It will consist of an overview of the draft official plan, including updates to maps and schedules, and the opportunity for the community to share ideas and engage with the project team and members of council. If you can’t attend any public open houses, the public is encouraged to provide feedback directly through the public consultation form on the official plan review page.
Open house schedule
- Longford Mills Community Centre, 3858 Longford Mills Rd., Tuesday, July 25, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Udney Community Centre, 2347 Concession Rd. 10, Wednesday, July 26, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- Township administration building, 2297 Hwy. 12, Thursday, July 27, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Following the open houses, staff will review comments and upcoming Provincial Policy changes scheduled to be released in the fall. Staff will then update the draft official plan and associated maps and schedules for council’s endorsement, followed by a statutory public meeting. The public who misses the opportunity to present feedback during the commenting period can provide comments during the statutory public meeting tentatively scheduled for late fall.
