NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA

National Volunteer Week is from April 25 to 29, and Ramara is celebrating the impact of volunteers by thanking those who do so much for our community.

Every year, Ramara's volunteers help clean up our trails and parks, collect and sort donations, beautify our streets, and put on special events for the rest of the community to enjoy. As well, over the past two years, our volunteers have given their time, energy and talent to lending a hand, helping their neighbours, and making our community a great place to be.

"Our volunteers are the heart of Ramara, and I applaud their great spirit for generosity and commitment to improving our community," states Mayor Clarke. "I want to thank each of our volunteers for the continued efforts to improve and shape our community to make it a better place to live and visit."

The Township of Ramara wants to recognize and thank all the different community groups and individuals who enrich the community and dedicate their time and knowledge through various forms of service. If you are interested in volunteering in the Township of Ramara and want to learn new skills, gain experience and have fun, visit our website at ramara.ca/ volunteering.
