Ren’s Pets celebrated opening their latest retail store in Orillia this past weekend. The Canadian specialty pet retailer’s new 7400-square-foot store is located at 3275 Monarch Dr. by the Home Depot and marks the company’s 39th location.
“It’s so great to finally open in Orillia, where there’s just an incredible community of passionate pet parents,” said Scott Arsenault, CEO at Ren’s Pets. “The energy at the store on Saturday morning was amazing, with lots of customers and their dogs from Orillia coming out to see what Ren’s has to offer for your Pet’s Best Life. The Ren’s team did an excellent job at welcoming them all into the new store, giving great advice on food and all the premium products we carry.”
The Orillia store features over 8,000 products with aisles of high-quality dog and cat food, displays of treats and toys, plus a special grooming section.
There is 30-feet of large walk-in freezers for raw and frozen pet food. Customers can shop in-store, order online for pickup at the store, use same-day delivery powered by DoorDash, or ship to home.
“We were thrilled to see a huge line up of customers and their pets waiting to get into the store,” said Larissa Wasyliw, VP of Ecommerce & Marketing at Ren’s Pets.
“There were a lot of customers that knew our Ren’s brand from the close-by Barrie location. We’ve also been receiving a lot of feedback from Toronto customers that this will be the perfect pitstop on the way to the cottage, and a great location to pick up life jackets for the summer for your pets," said Wasyliw.

Ren’s Pets will be opening five new stores this spring in Ontario, including Orillia, Thunder Bay, Newmarket, Stouffville, and Niagara Falls.
