Rotary Club honours Orillia's Students of the Month

Five local students from three Orillia secondary schools were recognized this week for their academic achievements and community involvement

On Nov. 5, the Rotary Club of Orillia recognized five students from Orillia's three secondary schools as the Students of the Month for September and October.

These students are responsible, dedicated and passionate individuals that deserve recognition not only for their academic achievements, but also for their outstanding level of involvement in their school and community.

Fouz Ul-Mubeen and Sumyia Chowdhury of Orillia Secondary School were honoured at this week's luncheon.

Alexa Thompson of Twin Lakes Secondary School was also recognized.

In addition, Muskaan Raina and Kallum Holdsworth of Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School were also presented awards this week.
