The Orillia Rowing Club recently christened a brand new racing quad after Orillia Volunteer Hero Christopher Bellchambers.

This new boat will significantly help the club expand their Youth Rowing Program and was sponsored by Angelo Orsi.

Orsi had the privilege of naming the boat and chose to pay tribute to Bellchambers, who passed away tragically earlier this summer.

The christening ceremony was attended by over 30 people, many of them youth.  At the ceremony, youth rowers Charlie Pallopson and Cedar Wink spoke about the importance of this new boat in expanding youth rowing in Orillia and thanked Orsi for his generous donation.
