OrilliaMatters will announce the winners of our second annual Community Builders Awards over the next two weeks

OrilliaMatters is delighted to reveal the recipients of our second annual Community Builders Awards.

These awards are our way of celebrating the incredible people, businesses and organizations in Orillia that go above and beyond to make our city a fantastic place to live, work and have fun.

We are deeply committed to supporting local and that includes honouring the outstanding individuals who bring innovation, resilience and inspiration to Orillia.

This year, we're recognizing 10 local community builders in different categories: Arts, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Hall of Fame, Health Care, Legacy, Sports and Recreation, Unsung Hero and Young Leader.

Starting on April 29, we will be sharing detailed profiles of each recipient right here on OrilliaMatters. Be sure to keep an eye out over the next few weeks to learn more about these amazing community builders.

Congratulations to everyone who received a Community Builders Award!

We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who took the time to nominate someone deserving. Your efforts have helped shine a spotlight on the incredible work happening in our community.
