SAVE THE ORO MORAINE

Save the Oro Moraine and the Simcoe County Greenbelt Coalition will host their second community information session about the Oro Moraine on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Guest speaker Susan Walmer will share her experience as CEO of the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust and her involvement with the Greenbelt — a very controversial topic. Her experience and information will be important to those interested and concerned about protecting the Oro Moraine against the increasing dangers of development.
The meeting is in the Jarratt Hall located at the intersection of Horseshoe Valley Road and Line 10. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. There is no admission cost and refreshments will be served.
