The Severn Township Public Library and TD Summer Reading Club is pleased to announce a free StoryWalk pilot project for summer 2021!

StoryWalk is a fun, socially-distanced activity that places a children’s book, page by page, on laminated poster boards around the Main Street of Coldwater.

Kids and their families have the opportunity to enjoy reading a book while strolling through their community.

Starting and ending at the Library, journey to the Coldwater Ice Cream shop, township parkette, Coldwater Mill grounds, and Sylvia’s garden (Coldwater Steampunk Garden). The StoryWalk is also a part of the Coldwater Steampunk scavenger hunt.

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and was developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Featuring The Thing Lou Couldn't Do which was written and illustrated by Ashley Spires.

Co-created and delivered by over 2,000 public libraries across Canada, this national bilingual program is developed by Toronto Public Library in partnership with Library and Archives Canada. #TDSRCstorywalk
