Global Pet Foods and its customers have once again shown some love to a local cat shelter.
The company’s Orillia store selected the Comfie Cat Shelter as its charity of choice for its annual Show Us Your Heart campaign.
The campaign, which ran from Feb. 11 to 27, collected $922.09 from customers to be donated to the non-profit, no-kill shelter on Norweld Drive. Global Pet Foods’ head office chipped in an additional $287.
“As always, the Comfie Cat Shelter truly appreciates the support of this store for all they do for us, not just during the Show Us Your Heart campaign, but also throughout the year,” a shelter representative said.
