Visitors can skate on outdoor trail, snowshoe through the grounds, enjoy games, check out indoor galleries and much more on Family Day

MINESING - This Family Day, celebrate everything winter has to offer. Pack your skates, sled, and family into the car and head down to the Simcoe County Museum on Monday, February 17, 2020, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Skate on our outdoor trail or borrow our snowshoes to explore the grounds. When you begin to get a chill, warm up inside with our Games Room and check out our indoor galleries. Be sure to visit our current travelling exhibit, Kids Celebrate! – a new travelling exhibition from the Canadian Museum of History.

All activities are included with your event admission for the day. Bring your own skates, helmets and toboggans – snowshoe rentals are available free of charge.

Event rates apply for Family Day activities: Museum Members and Preschoolers are free; Adults $8; Youth and Seniors $6; and Children are $5.
