Sleuths to descend on region this month to solve 'murder case'

'Be prepared to step in the shoes of a crime-scene investigator as you navigate the streets to find clues to crack the case,' says CluedUpp founder

Criminal carnage is coming to Barrie.

Sleuths from across Simcoe County are set to descend on Barrie June 18 in an attempt to solve a “murder case."

The case will test participants' skills of deduction as they immerse themselves in the life of a crime-scene investigator in a new, “nail-biting” outdoor event hosted by UK-based CluedUpp Games.

This isn’t the first time Barrie has hosted an event like this, having been the site for a sold-out event last summer

The event will bring a new mystery that combines outdoor gaming and crime-solving in a unique one-off experience. The latest CSI-inspired storyline will see players follow a crime-scene investigation like no other, where they will use forensic techniques, code breaking and good old-fashioned detective work to try to crack the case.

“We’re now the world’s biggest geogaming events company, hosting exciting and immersive events in every continent around the globe. We have worked tirelessly to bring our amazing customers a brand new mystery and an incredible outdoor experience that will leave gamers on the edge of their seat. Be prepared to step in the shoes of a crime-scene investigator as you navigate the streets to find clues to crack the case,” says CluedUpp founder Tref Griffiths.

Tickets for the event are $105 for a team of six adults, and little detectives and dogs play free.
