Snow squall warning issued for:
   Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago, Ont. 

Current details:
Lake effect snow squalls today.

This snow squall warning replaces the winter weather travel advisory previously in effect.

Hazards:
Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow.
Local snowfall accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.

Timing:
Today.

Discussion:
Lake effect snow squalls have developed and will continue today before easing and shifting north of the area late this afternoon or early evening.
Snow squalls are expected to redevelop for the Midland area tonight.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
