The Orillia Lions Club was pleased to present the Orillia Youth Centre with a cheque for $1,500, raised from this year's virtual Snowflake Series.

Runners recorded their races within the period of Dec. 6 through Jan. 10. Registration was by donation, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to support the Jake Beers Creative Fund at the Orillia Youth Centre.

Runners who completed four races were entered into a draw for two Garmin vivoactive 3 watches and two gift certificates, generously donated by Steve Orr, owner of Dapper Depot.

Race organizer Jeffrey Taylor thanks the community sponsors for their ongoing support.

Plans for the 29th Snowflake Series are underway with great expectations this will be a live event in 2021-22.
