Registration is underway for the Ramara Public Library's summer programs.

Ready to Read!

Ages 0-5

All of our infants, toddlers and preschoolers are encouraged to read with their

families this summer!  When borrowing materials during every library visit and reading at home, your child is welcome to come to either branch and choose a prize from the Reading Treasure Chest upon return of books.

TD Summer Reading Club

Ages 5 - 12

You are encouraged to read this summer for a chance to win amazing prizes and build literacy skills! For every 20 minutes spent reading this summer, you will receive a ballot to put towards prizes such as a tablet, LEGO, gift cards and more! Can you reach 12 or more hours of reading this summer?

Young Adult Reading Club

Ages 12 - 18

You are encouraged to read this summer for a chance to win amazing prizes and beat the summer boredom while building literacy skills! For every 20 minutes spent reading, you will receive a ballot to put towards prizes such as an eReader, FitBit, gift cards and more!

SPICE Up Your Life Open House

Wednesday, June 13th from 10 am to 12 pm

SPICE up your life, is a conversation exchange program geared towards inclusion, community and acceptance.  If you are interested in learning more about conversation exchange and the specifics of the SPICE program please visit us on June 13th. Refreshments will be served.

Author Visit:  Dennis Rizzo - A Brief History of Orillia

Wednesday, June 20th @ 6:30 pm

Dennis has written several local histories, as well as articles on the American Revolution and slave sanctuaries in New Jersey.  He ended up in New Jersey for 40+ years until his wife rescued him and brought him north to Canada. Friends of Ramara Public Library 50/50 Raffle

Drop by either branch of the Ramara Township Public Library to purchase your 50/50 raffle tickets - $2 each or 3 for $5.  The draw will be held on July 14th @ 3:00 pm at the Ramara Classic Car Show in Lagoon City. The more tickets we sell, the more money you can win!  All proceeds will assist with Ramara Library programs and projects.
