CITY OF ORILLIA

The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, has been lifted. The swimming advisory at Moose Beach remains in effect.

A swimming advisory was issued for both Couchiching Beach and Moose Beach by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 30, 2019, due to higher than normal bacteria count.

Two of the three swimming areas in Orillia are open for swimming. This includes Couchiching Beach and Portage Bay.
