The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, has been lifted.
A swimming advisory was issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on Aug. 25 due to a higher-than-normal bacteria count.
All three swimming areas in Orillia are now open for swimming. This includes Couchiching Beach, Moose Beach and Portage Bay.
