Tasty 'Farm to Plate' dinner on the menu in Brechin Oct. 5

Ramara Chamber of Commerce presenting unique, locally produced meal amid the country ambiance of The Farmgate; Deadline to buy tickets is Friday

It’s harvest season. And that means an opportunity to enjoy the bounty of the harvest.

The Ramara Chamber of Commerce and its partners are planning to do just that on Oct. 5 when they host a delicious ‘Farm to Plate’ dinner.

This locally-produced, farm-fresh, four-course dinner will be served amid the rustic, country ambiance of The Farmgate in Brechin.

Doors open to this unique event at 3:30 p.m. with displays from the Ramara Historical Society and sampling from Muskoka Brewery and a local cidery.

At 4 p.m., hors d’oeuvres will be served and the dinner will officially begin.

Diners can choose from a menu featuring beef or chicken or select a vegan option.

But you don’t have much time to purchase your ticket! Tickets are only on sale until Friday.

The Saturday, Oct. 5 event will be hald at Farmgate, which is located at 3093 Ramara Road 47 in Brechin.
