Fresh off of beating the reigning Carruthers Division champion Stayner Siskins in overtime last weekend, the Jr. C Orilllia Terriers brought the momentum to Midland Friday night and improved to 2-0 in Provincial Junior Hockey League play with a 6-1 road triumph.

The first period was a big one for the Terriers as they erupted for four goals. Josh Brown would pick up his first Jr. C goal as he slid the puck through the pads of the Midland goaltender for an early 1-0 lead. Chris Brown and Corey Miller would pick up the assists.

The rest of the first period belonged to Corey Miller who put three goals into the back of the net. Owen King collected an assist in the period. Captain Jake Beard assisted on all three of Miller's goals.

The Terriers would have the momentum all the way till halfway through the second when the Flyers would squeak one past Cam Plante making it a 4-1 game.

In the third period, Miller collected his fourth goal of the game as Beard set him up for the fourth time in the game; Ayden Dooley would collect the other assist.

Orillia added a late goal as Jake Linzner tapped home a rebound with 35 seconds left in the third period to make it 6-1.

The Terriers hit the ice next tonight when they face the Caledon Golden Hawks at Rotary Place. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.
