One of Canada’s best-known role models, Commander Chris Hadfield, sometimes referred as ‘the most famous astronaut since Neil Armstrong’ tuned in through Skype with the kids from Coldwater Public School.
The Severn Township Public Library hosted the Skype session, which was two years in the waiting.
Students gathered in the school gym on Tuesday morning to take part in a special phone call, and they had an opportunity to ask questions, which Commander Hadfield was happy to answer, throwing in props to demonstrate his points, even his very own bobble head figurine!
The Severn Township Public Library would like to thank Commander Hadfield for his time and the Coldwater Public School for including all the kids in this exciting experience.
