The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes during the Easter holiday weekend.
Curbside waste collection and waste drop-off facilities
- There will be no change to your regular curbside waste collection schedule.
- March 29 — All county waste drop-off facilities will be closed.
- March 30 — All county waste facilities will be open (with the exception of Matchedash).
- April 1 — All county waste facilities will be closed (with the exception of Matchedash).
Waste collection updates are not applicable to the cities of Barrie and Orillia.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on March 29 with the exception of Route 4, which will be operating on a Sunday schedule.
- Please visit nextlinx.simcoe.ca to check schedules.
County administration centre (Midhurst)
- The administration centre, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on March 29 and April 1.
Ontario Works
- All Ontario Works offices are closed on March 29 and April 1.
Children’s services
- All children’s services offices are closed on March 29 and April 1.
Simcoe County Museum
- The museum will be closed on March 29 and March 31.
- Regularly scheduled hours on March 30 and April 1 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

Simcoe County Archives
- The archives is closed on March 29 and April 1.
