Visitors hooked on Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Artisan Fair

Event at Simcoe County Museum continues Sunday

The annual Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Artisan Fair arrived at the Simcoe County Museum in Midhurst this weekend.

The event features a show and sale of quilts and wall hangings, with nature being a featured theme.

The quilted artwork on hand is presented by area quilt guilds Barrie Modern, Georgian Bay, Kempenfelt, Orillia, Quilting Corners, Simcoe County, and Slope to Shore.

Visitors can choose their overall favourites in several categories with a viewer’s choice ballot.

The Simcoe County Potters Guild is also showing its work at the event, which will continue Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
