A contest is underway to name this harvester in Lagoon City.

The Lagoon City Parks and Waterways Commission (LCPWC) is hoping a new contest will reap some creative results.

Ramara residents are invited to submit name suggestions for the two harvesters and the barge seen regularly in the canals during the summer.

Those who take part will have a chance to win one of three $50 gift certificates to a Ramara business. The winning names will be announced during the April 13 LCPWC meeting and will be displayed on the equipment.

Entries can be submitted via the form at ramara.ca/haveyoursay.

The contest is open to all Ramara residents. One entry per resident is permitted.

Submissions must be respectful and appropriate.

The contest closes April 5 at 4:30 p.m.

Winners will be informed by email or phone.

More information about the LCPWC can be found at ramara.ca/LCPWC.
