Lake Simcoe Regional Airport is asking travellers for input on new air service.

Regional airline Pascan is looking at expanding flights from Simcoe County to Ottawa and Montreal.

Depending on the response, the additional service could be up and flying this Spring.

Pascan is a regional airline based at Saint Hubert airport in Montreal, PQ with a network of routes throughout Quebec and a history of reliable and safe flight operations of nearly two decades, according to a statement by Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.

The airline has expanded into Ontario in 2017 with scheduled services into Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

The initial Barrie/Lake Simcoe Regional Airport air service envisions a morning departure and an afternoon departure to both Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport (YND) and Montreal Downtown Airport (YHU) from Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.

Connections at the Ottawa and Montreal airports to Pascan destinations throughout Quebec will also be available (Quebec City, Bagotvile, Sept-Îles and more).

Organizations and individual travelers are asked to fill out this three question passenger survey here.
