NEWS RELEASE
TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA
*************************
The Township of Ramara is celebrating Easter with a fun, family scavenger hunt contest that will take residents all around the township.

The scavenger hunt is called 'Eggsplore Ramara,' and it will take families around to 12 surprise locations. Locations will be released three times a day on social media from Monday March 29 through Thursday April 1. Families have all Easter Weekend to complete - contest closes April 5, 2021.

Residents are asked to grab their family members from the same household and follow Ramara Recreation on Facebook and Instagram to watch to see where the bunny is headed. Residents will then go to the location, complete the activity by scanning the QR code with their phone and sending in the answers.

"In these uncertain times, we wanted a way to be able to stay distanced in our household groups but still be able to explore our great neighbourhoods in Ramara. Hopefully, chasing the bunny will bring you to a place you might not have seen before," said Caroline Schiavone, Recreation & Community Services Supervisor for the Township of Ramara.

The winners of the Eggsplore Ramara contest will be announced on April 7, 2021 and will be contacted to pick up their prize packs. Remember every new location gives you a ballot into the contest!

Don't miss out on this great event that will have you hopping around Ramara. Bring your phone or tablet around with you and don't forget to follow Ramara Recreation on Facebook or Instagram to learn more on how you can get involved.
