ORILLIA LAWN BOWLING CLUB

The third fun lawn bowling tournament of the year took place at the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club on Aug. 3.
The sponsor of the event was John Lockwood Investments, represented by Jane Lockwood. Jane even tried her hand at delivering a lawn bowl.
The tournament consisted of three six-end games of regular bowling and challenging variations to the game. In spite of heavy rain during one game and threatening weather throughout the day, everyone had an enjoyable, fun day.
The winning team was Steve Collins and Gord Murphy.
The next open invitational tournament sponsored by Investment Planning Counsel is scheduled for Aug. 18.
