The Jim Wilson Chevrolet major peewee AE Terriers competed in their first tournament of the season in the Niagara region.

The Orillia squad took home the silver medal at the Adam Keunen Memorial Tournament. The team’s three victories, including two shutouts, landed them in the final against the St. Thomas Junior Stars.

Despite suffering a defeat in the gold-medal game, the team returned home with a silver medal and some great memories from the Niagara region.

The tournament is named in memory of Adam Keunen, a teen from West Lincoln who died in 2014 as the result of an industrial accident while on a co-op placement with his high school.
