The McLean & Dickey Orillia Terriers will be looking to win their second consecutive game against Caledon Saturday night.
Last Sunday afternoon, the Terriers dominated the host Golden Hawks, outshooting their Provincial Junior Hockey League rivals 34-16 en route to a narrow 3-2 victory.
The Terriers were trailing 2-1 in the third, before Isaiah Philip scored to knot the contest. Mason Beck scored the eventual game winner midway through the frame to secure the two points for the visitors. Leading scorer Josh Brown also scored for the Terriers.
Netminder Reed Spinola picked up the win between the pipes
On Saturday night, the Terriers (18-6-1) will look to make it two in a row over Caledon (8-17-1) when the two teams meet again at Rotary Place in west Orillia.
Heading into play Saturday, the Terriers are in third place in the eight-team North Carruthers division. Orillia is just two points behind second-place Schomberg. (The two teams were scheduled to play last Saturday night in Orillia, but that game was postponed due to a snow storm).
The Terriers and Golden Hawks will face off Saturday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. Proof of double vaccination is required to attend the games in person.
