Goals came fast and furious in weekly contests

Plenty of scoring and heated action was the highlight of Orillia Lady Kings Houseleague play on Monday night. Little Lady Kings play would feature Pepper Haulage dumping Mariposa Landscaping by an 8-3 margin.

Alexandra Fagan would earn player of the night honours by scoring four goals in leading her team to victory. Payton Smalley would also score three goals and Lily Robins would round out the scoring for the victors. Emily Bell, Olivia Favaro and Madelyn MacCormack recorded goals in a losing effort.

Game two was a more hotly contested affair as TD Canada Trust would earn a narrow 3-2 win over Scetto Construction. Eily Hayes, Molly Bergeron and Pyper McDonald found the back of the net for the banking crew while Olivia Mathieson and Ryleigh McGuire would score in a losing cause.

U11 action would see a pair of great games as Telford Property Management would secure a 6-1 win over Freeman`s AutoSource as Allyson Glass scored 2 goals with help from Emma Pilger, Alison Rolston, Cameryn Knee and Jessica Noganosh all making the scoresheet with single goals.

Grace Rymsha earned the win in net and would only allow a goal by Ashley Hester to get behind her. Another six-goal outburst by Sunshine BBQ would lead them to a 6-3 win over R&F Construction as Mya Roe would score a hattrick and add two assists in helping Danika Tindale gain the win in net.

Hayley Ball with a pair and Emilijia Ligers would also score goals while Anna Fagan would chip in with three assists. The construction crew had a two-goal effort from Jayden Maracle and a single marker from McKenna Maracle to round out U11 action tonight.

U13/U15 Houseleague division would see Tryon Construction defeat Bradley Homes by a 6-3 margin. Pacing the winners was Clare Wilson notching two goals and adding three assists ands helping Montana Kenny gain the win in net.

Sarah Fagan would add a pair while single markers came from Haley Glass, Paige Paddon and Sierra Tryon aided in the win. Catherine Varley led her team with a pair of goals as well and a single from the stick Hailey Irwin was all they could muster in todays match.

Peak Engineering’s Melanie Decock and sister Hailey would combine for seven points in the 6-2 win over Champlain Ready Mix as Melanie had a two goal, two assist effort to go along with Hailey’s one goal, two assist effort. Kingsleigh MacPherson with a pair and Jaiden Smellie’s single would round out the scoring stats. Gracie Yakeley and Jessica Sattler would score in the loss.

If you like goals and plenty of scoring, U13/U15 Elite action was the place to be watching as Royal Lepage-Dan Parnell sponsored team rolled to a 13-6 win over Kutting Edge Promotions Inc. Emma Torkoff continue her torrid scoring pace with a four goal and an assist effort while Anna Glass would also add a hattrick in the win.

Two goals from Anna Lajoie and Sydney Shawyer and singles from Mayson Parnell and Eleanor Waite would round out the scoring for the realtors. Makayla Clarke also had a great effort scoring her own hattrick in the loss while Bethany Marchant with two and Julie Caswell rounded out the scoring in game one. Game two was a slugfest and ended in a 9-9 tie for TJS Sheet Metal against West Street Storage.

Three-goal efforts were the theme in this match as Ryin Davidson, Avery Paek and Kennedy Clarke each contributed with one for storage gang while Kayleigh Aitkens and Kieran Goldthorpe recorded their hattricks for the tin bashers. Riley Marwick with a pair and Sophia Columbus would add goals to gain the tie. Melanie Smith and Katie Wilson both played in goal for each team.
