ORILLIA LAWN BOWLING CLUB

The Novice Mixed 4 Combos District Playdowns were recently hosted by the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club.
Teams from Orillia and Midland participated. The conditions were less than ideal as it poured rain for half of the day.
The women and men paired off in two games and were undefeated. In the final game of fours, Orillia secured their spot in the provincials by winning a close game over Midland. The provincials will be held Aug. 26 in Pickering.
The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club also recently hosted an open pairs tournament, where teams travelled from outside Orillia to play. This tournament was sponsored by Adam Burton from the Burton Financial Team. It was another great day with lunch being provided by the host club.
